Hello, My Recycle Bin has 33 items in it, but none of them are visible.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I clicked on the 'Empty the Recycle Bin' icon and it queried "Delete all 33
items?"

So how do you know there's something in there if you can't see them?

Run the Fix-it utility from Microsoft.
The Recycle Bin icon does not refresh automatically in Windows Vista or in
Windows XP

That did not fix the problem, but thanks for trying to help.

Windows might be set to hide system files. That's its default.
In that case, if there are system files in the recycle bin, you wouldn't see
them.

If you want to check this, you can change your folder options to get Windows
to show you system files then have another look at the bin.
