Red x in folders view

I am getting a red x on the FrontPage icon on 2 of my pages in folders view,
and changes I have tried to make to one of these pages have not published. I
am a novice and know I must have done something wrong, but the book I'm using
doesn't deal with this. Anybody got a clue what I did? And how to undo it?

the red x means they are marked as "Do not publish" To fix it, right click the file and remove the
"don not publish" setting.
