red x's

Pam

I have done several website and never had the following problem

I am now doing a new website. I have a picture on the index page. It publishes fine. The text shows on the site but only a red x in the corner where the picture should be. It's 200x160 pixel; 2 x 1.6 inches. All my other sites work fine

Any ideas

Thanks

1. Did you import the image into the web before using?
2. Does the CaSe of the filename match the link in HTML view if publishing
to a Unix/Linux server?

The jpegs are pictures that I originally cropped etc. in photoshop and used in a print material. All I did was insert the jpeg from the file where the pictures were.

What I did just do was take the orginal picture, recropped and sized, and inserted that one and it worked.

It would best so much easier if I can used pictures I already have modified.

True, however Photoshop can create some jpeg files with a format that can't
be read by other applications.
