Redirecting from a form

I am new to web building. I am trying to create a page
called "join_2.htm". The page has a form to collect data,
and when the "Submit" button is clicked it will send the
data to me in an email ... and then go to the Confirmation
page called "join_4.htm". Both of these pages are in a
folder called "Join" under the Root. The email portion
works fine but the page redirects to a Form Validation
page instead of going to join_4. I have found that if I
change the form properties and tell it to go to a page
outside of the Join folder and to a page anywhere under
the root it will work ok. Further it will not redirect to
any page in any folder. What do I need to do to get the
join_2 form page to go to the join_4 page(in the same
folder) when the submit button is clicked ?? I am using
FrontPage 2000. Any help here would be appreciated.

Roy,

The confirmation page is for the users benefit, so it is
noramally an existing page within your site. It doesn't
belong in a folder.

Your site has permissions to write to the folder, but the
user isn't supposed to access folders in general,
otherwise, they might be privy to confidential info.

Just save this as a regular web page so it shows up for
the user.

If what you seek is a backup file, set this in form
properties. Just make sure the file you use exists is in
your _private folder.

Mike .... I took my pages out of the folder and placed
them under the root .... when I click the submit buttom on
page join_2 it still goes to a generic Form Validation
page instead of the page I specify. If you wish to see it
in action go to: www.t18.net/join_2.htm fill the form in
with some junk and then submit it. It should go directly
to www.t18.net/join_4.htm, but it doesn't. Any ideas ??
