Redirecting MS Project Server 2003 to a different database

Can MS Project Server 2003 be re-directed to use another database? I plan on
moving the current project databases which iis in SQL Server 2000 to a new
SQL Server 2005 database and then test it by re-directing the server to the
new database. Can this be done or is necessary to rebuild the server and
configure it to use the new database?

Thanks

SQL backup between boxes, then use the Editsite utility to point to the new
sql box. The msprojectsreveruser and msprojectuser account will need to be
recreated on the new box as they will get orphaned during the move. When
doing so, ensure you apply the new accounts to the appropriate db roles.

Search msft.com for editsite utility if you down already have it.

Alternatively, you can use CONNINFO.EXE in the ProjectServer directory
(c:\program files...\bin)
