Redirecting webpages

I wrote a week ago about redirecting my old pages and
someone replied saying to put the redirection tag on the
old page.

My problem is the old pages are htm (from Microsoft
Publisher) and my new pages are html in FrontPage. How
can I force FrontPage to give me a htm page? Also, can I
have some htm pages and some html on my server? I do not
have the Microsof Publisher anymore so I am stuck with
ONLY FrontPage. Any suggestions?
