Redo - downloaded pictures do not come back

I do not download pictures by default. Of course, I occassionally
manually download the pictures from trusted senders.

However, when I revisit the emails on another day, the pictures are no
longer there AND there is no download link.

How do I get the pictures downloaded again?

Hello? Anyone out there have an answer? (Other than redirecting the
email back to myself.)

I wish one of the Microsoft associates would answer this, even if just
to say this is a known bug.
