Reducing a Flyer

Used a Word template to create an 8-1/2 by 11 flyer.

I'd like to shrink and rotate it so as to make two 5-1/2 by 8-1/2 handouts
to be printed on the same 8-1/2 x 11 piece of paper.

I know how to choose the facing pages layout in Page Setup but it doesn't
appear to resize it automatically.

Is there any easy way to do this as opposed to creating it all over again?

Have you tried File-->Print and choosing 2 pages per sheet?
