Reducing the size of narrated presentations

Narrating PowerPoint slides is great. But the resulting file size (embedded
or linked) is very big. Is there any way of reducing the size of a narrated
presentation? I often e-mail my presentations but narrated files are usually
6-10Mb.

First: Quality = Size, and vice versa.

The Record Narration dialong has a Change Quality button. The default is set
to use 11 kB/sec, and it looks like you might try 8kb/sec. If you need
smaller than that, you'll get to play with codecs or other recording
software.
