Redundancy in Project Server 07

This question has been asked before, however, all I can ascertain is that it
is possible to have more than 1 farm server running Project Application
Services when in a load balanced environment.

Is anyone aware of any published guidance for accomplishing this? Thanks in
advance.

I see that it uses round-robin to handle requests from the web tier. Does
it continue round robin'ing even within a single session?

Sorry to be dense, but where is state of a user session maintained? Lets say
I have 3 Project application servers and 3 load balanced web servers. I have
a user, call him Joe User, who is making multiple requests and getting back
responses. Were is the state of Joes session maintained? I've read that
the SSP maintains state, but I'm probably wrong.
