I was wondering why you wanted to do this. I've been unable to network my 2
machines since the "My Network" lists these saved websites and I was
wondering if this caused the probem...nobody else can come up with an
answer. I've been trying to find someone else whose had this trouble and
was wondering if that's why you wanted to stop the shortcuts.
I can't stop the short cuts of my locally saved web sites from being added
to "My Network Places".
I found this KB article:
242578 - HOW TO Prevent Network Share Shortcuts from Being Added to My
Network Places.htm
and changed settings as instructed. I double checked settings & the short
cuts still come back.
Is there anything else I can do or check?
