Reference books

Are there any good books out there that look at using MS Project in a real
project management environment? I don't want something that tells me how to
use the software, but something that discusses how to use the software to get
the job done.

Mike Glens articles are an excellent reference, and something in that style
would be good. Perhaps less of the "go here, click here" and more discussion
of the practical implications.

Thanks

Hi David,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Thanks for your kind comment :) The reference material for Project 2003
specifically is listed in FAQ Item: 47. Project 2003 Books and References.
Other than that, you'll have to delve into the general field of project
management. FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information
can be seen at this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
