References International

All

I have a user in Spain trying to run an MS Access application, which
was developed on an English PC which fails with a run time error. I
have established that the reference paths are not correct,

It is
"c:\Archivos de Programas\microsoft office\office10\"

But should be
"c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\vba\vba6\"

I have the same problem with a user in France (using the French path
instead of English)

Both users have Win 2K and Office XP pro but have installed their own
local language versions. English based PCs works fine.

The users are unable to access the references dialog box because they
use the runtime version.

Anyone know of a way to get a foreign language installation to
recognise or map to the English reference path or is there a
programming solution that can be employed?

The only solution I can think of is to get the users to create new
directory paths with standard English pathnames and copy all the
required dlls etc to them but there must be a better way, any help
gratefully received.

Many thanks

Mark
