Referencing a function from a different cell.

I use excell at work for stock quotes. Example: The
formula for me to bet the Bid on GE stock is
=ILX|Q!'GE,BID'

Instead of having to type GE everytime, would like to
reference a cell (so I can change the symbol easily).
Cannot get it to work.

Please help.

Try using INDIRECT() ?
