Kenneth,

Always use the white message area to elaborate on your query. Don't leave it
blank. It's considered impolite by many. Also, note that it's not possible
for responders using MS' web interface (like you) to respond to your query
if the message area is left blank. They'll be hit with a technical error
message if they click "Reply".

No prob. See Dave's response for the answer, viz:

Click Tools > Options > General tab
Uncheck R1C1 reference style > OK
