Refresh at MS Project Professional

Hi..

Dear all,
Sometimes, the PM must close and then open again the document file at MS
Project Professional 2007 to get updated value from updated value at PWA,
sometime twice, third or more close and open

How can the PM get updated value without close and open the file at more
trial?

It depence on the information your PM will need to have. What info is your
PM after?

For example :
The resource/member have been update the actual work in timesheet, submit
the timesheet, th PM approve
Then th member import timesheet to task and submit. The PM approve task
update in pWA while he opens the project file at MS project profesional 2007.

The PM close the file and open the file at MS Project Profesional, but the
actual sometime is not update, so he close the file and open again

May be, is it because of syncronization problem from server to client?

Hi Dee,

yeah, this is how it works. If you update task inforamtion you will need to
re-open Project from my understanding. It will then populate your schedule.
if he/she reopens the project staight after accepting, the job may still be
in the queue. I would recommend to wait a couple of seconds and then open
Project. It should work fine then
