I created a website with frames (to allow for a link
bar). I reposted the
site last night and it looks fine on my pc when I
refreshed each of the
frame pages. However, when I looked at the site from
another pc, the rightmost frame won't refresh. It still
shows the old page. It's ok on
my pc, here, but I just can't get it to refresh on the
other pc.
Any thoughts on another way to force a refresh. The right-
click, refresh,
isn't working. I've changed the IE options set to both
refresh on every
visit and then to automatic ... neither causes the right
frame on one of the
pages to show the most current.
PS ... I was able to get the page to refresh, by opening
the link in a "new window" ... then I did control
refresh. I figured this out, but what about visitors to
the site. It would seem that once it's been opened with
the older version of that same page/link, it can't get it
out of it's memory. Perhaps there's a code or something I
can put in the page.
Has anyone else had this experience? I sure need help
with this. Thanks
