Refreshing linked tables

In my split database new records to my main table are not coming up in
subsequent queries until the linked tables are refreshed. Can i write a
macro that refreshes tables whenever a user opens his front end? The users
are not able or will not go through the extra step on their own.

Dan,

This doesn't sound right... if the tables are indeed linked, any change
in the back end should be available to the front ends instantly, without
the need to do anything. Any chance your tables are imported rather than
linked? Or, maybe, you are using replication?

Nikos, They are linked, but i think i found my problem - bad design. Getting
better at it as i go though. Thanks
