Regarding Linking projects

Hi,

Is there a simple way of setting predecessors between two different
project files task instead of typing the whole location of the file
path \ ID number.
If I open two project files and keep at the same time by clicking
on Windows--- Arrange All.
I am unable to select two tasks (Task 1 from Project 1 and Task 2
from Project 2) by holding the control key down and link it by
clicking it on "Link Task" from the tool bar.

Thank You

From the same Windows menu you are using, select New Window and then the two
project you wish to link. They will open in the same window and you can link
in the same way you link within a single project file. When you are done,
save the two projects and you can either keep the new master project or quit
without saving.

Sathish:

Try collapsing the individual projects first by using the SHOW tool and
select Outline Level 1. Then expand the parts of the plan you need to expose
to do the linking. Trust me, the temporary master project is the best way.
