Regional settings are metric, but Powerpoint is using US Standard

I'm using MS Office 2003 on a Windows XP systems and I have my regional
settings set to Metric, but Powerpoint continues to use inches for both my
printing settings as well as my ruler. MS Word and Excel both are using
centimetres, based on my regional settings, and I'm not sure what else I can
do to get Powerpoint to begin using metric instead of the US Standard system.
And, in fact, MS Publsiher is doing the same thing with refusing to show
metirc settings.

Hi,

I've got an installation doing the same thing. Aaaugh!

Let's agree that if one of us works out why, we will tell the other one? :)

One question. Can you change your regional settings to Imperial. Then
reboot. Then change it back to metric. Sometimes that forces it to all wake
up from its locale slumber. Please let me know if it works!
