Register after activation?

Ross

Someone in our family activated our Office XP without
providing registration information.

Is there a way to register the software separately? Is
there a way to re-activate and provide registration
information?

I would have prefered to provide registration information
because I'd like to be informed of upgrades. Would it be
worth the hassle to pursue this or should I just leave it
as is?

Thanks.

Hi Ross-
Other options are available for difficulty with online registration or
products not eligible. Included with the software documentation, there
should be a yellow registration card, which can be mailed to the following
address:

MICROSOFT REGISTRATION

PO Box 72368

Roselle, IL 60172

If the yellow registration card cannot be located, the following information
may be sent to the above address:

* First and Last Name

* Billing Address

* Telephone number

* Email

* Product name and version

Registration information may be obtained by calling the Microsoft Sales
Information Team at (800) 426-9400, they are available Monday - Friday
6:30am - 5:30pm Pacific time. However they are unable to accept product
registration information over the phone.

Here's the solution:

To register the Microsoft Windows XP operating system,
perform the following steps:

Ensure that you have a running connection to the Internet.

Click the Start button, then click Run.
The Run window appears.

In the Open: box, type regwiz /r, then click the OK
button.
The Windows XP Registration Wizard window appears.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
registration process.
