Register option grayed out in 2007?

I have a AC2003 (.mdb) set of files (backend/frontend) that work great on my
computer that I developed them on. Copied them to a Win Vista AC2007 machine
and tried to open the file. Splash screen worked, but did not time out and
desolve to main menu. Had to close splash screen and then main menu opened.
First event action gave me an error saying something about a missing
reference and opened the IDE. Selected tools | menu looking for references.
Reference option was grayed out so was unable to fix problem.
Is there a solution to this problem? Any hints or techniques will be greatly
appreciated.

Hi Henry,

I do not know Vista, so if it is related to Vista this won't help. In
case it is not Vista-caused: Was the code still running? If so, do Run,
Reset. Then you should be able to get to the references. Alternatively, you
could open the file while holding down the Shift key. That will prevent any
code from running or forms from opening. Then go to the VB Editor and see if
you can get to the References.
