registering office X

When I click on the register online tab in the office x menu, it takes
me to Passport. I log in, and then it goes to a page that says that
the wizard I am trying to access is no longer working (or something to
that effect). What gives? How do I register a copy of office X?

I'm not sure why it's not working, but you can safely live without
registration. Office works fine without registering.

The only thing registration does for you is allow you to get on an email
list - it's a marketing thing for MS.

It doesn't confer any other benefits, nor will it help you if you lose
or damage your disk, etc.
