i recently purchased microsoft works 7.0 and installed it on my computer. it
only offered me internet registration, not the phone registration i usually
use, so i came to my local internet cafe and registered it. as i do not have
the internet at home, how is the product going to know i've registered it? i
haven't been given a code or anything... please help!

Registering is optional, not required. There is no *code* involved.

As Tom says, registering is optional. To make sure that everything is okay,
(I have to assume Works is like Office in this instance), open Works and
look in the Help menu. Look for Activate. What does it say?

BTW - Works is not Office so you may prefer to get all of your Works support
from the proper newsgroup. It's probably a safe assumption that most of us
who have Office do *not* have Works.
