I got the Office 2007 BETA as a part of the BETA program. I have since
installed it on a couple of computers that are connected to the Internet; one
directly and the other via VPN. Of course there are firewalls.

Everytime after the installation finished, I tried to go online to by
clicking the link shown there were two issues:
1. It took me to a website
(http://r.officebeta.iponet.net/r/rlidOfficeUserRegSetup?CLID=1033) that I
don't recognise. Although I can be reliably sure that this is Microsoft owned
/ affliated website, I am not 100% sure that it is so. Attempts to visit the
website directly (http://iponet.net) also fail.
2. It gives a "Cannot find server" error. Apparently the site is not working.

Any notes?

I have had the same problem accessing officebeta.iponet.net via a number of
different accessing methods. 1) The page "cannot be displayed" if I click on
the link in Office (Office button, "program" Options, Resources). 2) The page
"cannot be displayed" by directly typing in the address; 3) Assuming I had
typed something wrong, I did a search for the page, found related pages and
tried clicking the links there; and 4) I tried using anonymizer.com thinking
perhaps someone who previously had my ip address had ticked Microsoft off.

Alexa reports the page is active and getting a fairly impressive number of
daily hits.

I have ATT DSL internet and am running a fresh install of Windows with the
office beta added.
