Hi
Howdy.
i need to do web page for a client with a registration
form for a competition, i've never done something like
that, and i've no idea of how it works, is there a way
to do it directly with frontpage or do i need a plugin
or web service?
Please help me.
Thank you.
If your Web server has the FrontPage Server Extensions
installed, FrontPage can configure a Forms page to send
form results as mail, to save form results in a file on
the server, or to save them in a database on the server.
To do this, you just create your form using elements on
the Insert, Forms menu, then right-click the form and
choose Form properties from the shortcut menu.
If your Web server doesn't have the FrontPage Server
Extensions, it may have another form handling program you
can use. Consult your host's support pages to see what's
available, to get documentation, and to get sample HTML.
You may also choose to write your own form handler in
ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, or whatever your Web server supports.
However, this does require programming skills.
Please post again if you can narrow down the possible
approaches, but need more specific advice.
