Registration Not Working

I bought the Upgrade version of Office Standard 2007 in the Spring of 2007
and each and every time I open up Word, it asks me to register. I input the
product key and it then tells me the key is incorrect and gives me only
viewing rights of Word documents.

I think I may have bought the wrong edition of Office Standard. What should
I do now?

Where is this product key located? Where are you getting it from?

Register or Activate?
If you start Word, then Office Orb Btn > Word Options > Resources
What does it say in 'about MS Office Word'?
