Registration of Office 2004 Educator version

I'm a newbie. Apologies if I violate protocol. I installed Office 2004 on
my new iMac G5, about 8 hours (yes, I'm no techie) trying to register my
program. I think I finally got it done but have no way of knowing. I never
received any message indicating that I had been successful. The last
"continue" I clicked took me to the Newsletter. Have I registered? How do
I check? I called Microsoft and they transferred me to a recording
instructing me on installation of the program.

"Registration" for Mac Office is not like "Activation" of Microsoft products
for Windows that you may have read about. It's not required, it doesn't
inspect anything on your computer, and all it does is register you name and
email address with Microsoft to send you that newsletter. That's all - just
the newsletter. You're all set up, and can rest easy.
