I purchased a subscription version of Office 2007 some months ago. Before I
purchased I carefully noted that the contract allowed me to install a second
copy of Office for personal use, ie on my laptop. I decided to buy it based
on this.
I just tried to install Office 2007 on my laptop but cannot activate it. I
am told that I have exceeded my number of activations (words to this effect).
What can I do now? I am entitled to a second copy for personal use. The
dialog box has unticked the activate by telephone option, so I can't call.
Since I'm in Australia there appears to be no support for Aus customers. The
company that sold the product to me will not answer my questions.
Bottomline I want to be able to install a second copy of Office 2007 on my
laptop for personal use. I entitled to do that because the contract
specifically says that I can and also because I purchased the product.
Any help to solve this problem will be really appreciated. Please get back
to me ASAP!
