Registry problem after communcator uninstall

I installed and then uninstalled communicator for Outlook 2003 and now have
lost most of the functions of Outlook. No send can't receive - get error
messages for almost everything. Have tried uninstalling Outlook and
reinstalling but doesn't help.

What is the exact error?
Why do you suspect it to be a registry issue?
Verified your account settings?
Reinstalling won't help with configuration issues, you might need to
recreate your mail profile but it is hard to say at this level of detail.
