on Outlook 2002, when I hit Send/Receive, I get en error
message the reads: The operation failed. I followed
instructions of Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 312354

But when I get to step 5, (In the E-mail Accounts dialog
box, select Add a new e-mail account in the e-mail
options, and then click Next.) nothing happens. When I
go in Outlook, to tools, to email accounts, another error
pops up: The operation failed due to a registry or
installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If
the problem persists, please reinstall.
I've restarted, I've reinstalled, I also followed
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 315048, but it still
won't let me add e-mail accounts. . .
Any help would be much appreciated.
