Registry settings for the "Save As" window sort.

Hi,

I'm looking for a registry setting that can be set to maintain the last sort
in the window for the 'Save As'. I have a remote employee that is complaining
that everytime he does a 'Save As' and performs a sort on a detailed view,
the window doesn't maintain the sort from the last time it was performed.
Mine maintains the sort from the previous sort after I re-open the window.
Basically it is a major nuisance.

All suggestions welcome!

You will have to ask in a newsgroup for your operating system, as
there can be differences.
This does not appear to be an Office problem.

What application and what version of Office are you referring to?

Office 2003 and WinXPSP2. It is odd that the sort was working before, just
don't know what made it change. In this instance; which is repeatable he just
saves a zipped file to another location and he has to resort the window on
name so it pops up more readily, instead of scrolling to find the correct
folder. These are zipped word docs if that is any help.

I'm not following how he is saving a zipped file to another location
in an Office application. Could you provide the specific reproduction
steps taking along with the desired behavior? e.g. Steps to reproduce:
Start <application name>, go to File/Save As, etc. Desired behavior:
Files sorted by name in Descending order
