Regrouping the ONLY option - strange.

You say you "ctrl-click the next picture." Did you mean
SHIFT-click? Ctrl does not select multiple items (as far
as I know). When I (tried to) reproduce what you
described, Group was indeed greyed out, but when I used
SHIFT-click, I had no problem.

I have four items in the slide, 2 text, 2 pictures.

I've grouped the first text with the first picture -

just fine. The, I click off the group - select the next
text box and ctrl-click the next picture - to make the
next group. BUT - no group option is available (it's
greyed out)

If I ungroup everything and attempt to just group the

second two - no option exists sans 'Regroup' (which does
the first text/pic) Nothing in options deals with this
and I've done it many times before in other ppt's.

I've tried closing out PP but nothing there... I'm ready

to just delete the dam thing and start over!
