Regular Project Server 2003 Maintenance: Incorporating .ldf file

Someone else installed Project Server a couple of years ago.

I've been given the task of maintaining the databases.

I've discovered an enormous .ldf file... and was wondering: How to you
incorporate this log file into the database. It seems to me that daily,
weekly or monthly incorporation should occur.

I did do a search but nothing showed up.

Search is a marvelous tool if you have the right keywords.

Please help!

Drivers:

It sounds as though the folks that came before you failed to setup database
maintenance plans and proper backups. A full database backup, including log
backup, truncates the log files, which can grow quite enormous and consume
all of your disk space if not managed.properly.
