How can I make an inactive employee active again (rehired) without all the
timesheets coming up in the past since he last left?

Mary,

Once you activate the "old" account again, the "old" information will also
become available. Make sure that there is not remaining time left on old
tasks, at least that means that the resource cant see any tasks under the
"current tasks" view.

BUT HE IS ASSIGNED TO SAME TASKS, ADMIN, ETC.

Hi Mary,

if he needs to enter time against these tasks ( admin etc ) then why wouldnt
you let him use the tasks he has been using in the past. In project server
terms all that this means is that he did not "work" for a while and now works
again.
