Reinstall after hard drive crash?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I recently had to replace my hard drive, and lost all of the data on it. I still have the product key I used to install office the first time, but I am wondering if I can still use it? Microsoft support is no help (they want me to pay 49$ just to call them!)

Yes, Microsoft doesn't use any kind of product activation (at least on
the Mac). You're free to reinstall it as many times as you want on an
eligible machine.
