reinstall after reformat

Had to reinstall MS Office Pro after a hard-drive failure. Now that irritating little "Requesting Virus Scan" thingee is turned on again in Word, Excel and who knows what else. Unfortuantely for me, I can't remember how to disable it.

Any direction would be appreciated! :O)
