I am trying to install Front page 2002 on a newply purchased computer. After
enetring the product I get a "cannot find a qualifying product message" it
then asks which drive nto search for a qualifying product. I've tried the CD
drive where the installation disc is located.
What is a qualifying product? and where would it be?

It sounds like you have an upgrade copy of FP2002.
A qualifying product for FP2002 would be a previous version of FrontPage
- FP95, FP97, FP98, FP2000 - or Office 2000 Premium edition, or any
other version of Office 2000 or earlier with FrontPage as an included
application.

Sounds like the OP unfortunately may have purchased the upgrade without
knowing it was the upgrade. I don't know how the packaging is labelled in
the US or elsewhere, but in Australia, the MS upgrade version products are
labelled as such in an obvious way. eg "Upgrade Version" in white lettering
on a red background (usually a sticker stuck to the outside of the box).

For anyone else that has this problem, read the box carefully.....the side
of the package also has the qualifying products listed and it will tell you
that the installer will search for a qualifing product, or that you must
have the CD to the earlier version handy to allow it to make that check.
