I was going to donate a windows 98SE computer with office
2000 on it but decided to keep it. To play by the rules I
removed Office. Now I am unable to reinstall it keep
getting: "this patch package could not be opened".I have
tried everything that I can find @ Microsoft. Eraser 2000,
eraser 2000a I tried deleting the files as outlined in
articles 252566 and 252613 including deleting office 9.0
from the registry. I was unable to delete the file
MSVCP60.DLL from windows\system, it was always in use.
Also I did not delete all the fonts.
Any help out there?
