Unable to reinstall Office Enterprise 2007

Have previously installed MS Office enterprise 2007 from genuine microsoft
dvd, however said files were corrupt when running updates. Tried to reinstall
over the top, unable, and despite deleting what I could of the priginal
program from DOS, unable to reinstall, getting error message 2718. I have
reinstalled windows xp, service pack 3, run all system tools inc defrag etc,
but says internal error when I try to reinstall OE2007 from DVD or have also
tried 60 day trial of enterprise to see if it was disk's fault - this also
failed. Up to date XP version.

Any suggestions?

For Office Enterprise issues see the following. Support on this version is only
available from MS or your IT Department and we cannot help you here with the Office
Enterprise version.

Sorry but we do not know if it is Pirated or not. You should have gotten these
instructions as above on your Home Program purchase from your Company

The support for Office 2007 Enterprise is free and look and open
