reinstall outlook

my outlook will not open and i am unable to export to a pst. if I reinstall
outlook will i loose all my data?

I have a similar problem, and have tried using repair, to no avail. The only
option left is to remove Outlook and re-install from scratch. Will the
contacts and e-mails be lost?
