reinstallation

i'm designing a website for a client and have become her
unofficial tech support as well. she's having issues
reinstalling microsoft office xp after her hd crashed.
supposedly she has already registered it and might've been
told from source that there is nothing she can do since
it's been installed once already.

this all seems absurd to me. she has the physical discs
and everything. is there any way she can reinstall office
xp and be able to prove that it is registered in her name?

Hi Estevan,

There is no check when installing to see if the
owner is registered. If she's completed the installation
and is trying to reactivate the software use the telephone
activation method to speak to a MS technician.
