Reinstalling Access 97

D

Donna

My database was originally created in Access 97. We have
been through several upgrades of both hardward and
software, however, and now run Office XP. I converted a
few old copies of the 97 version of the database, because
I was going to need them. I just thought I could convert
the others if I ever needed to. However, I no longer have
Access 97 on my computer or anyone else's. I have the
original Office 95 disks, but for some reason my floppy
cannot read them. Keeps telling me the disk is not
formatted. I tried to run the 97 upgrade CD, which I also
still have, but it tells me the harddrive search
(searching for eligible Office components to upgrade)
failed. There must be some way to reinstall Office 97 so
I can convert these old databases. My boss wants to
recreate some data going back 5 years. ideas?
