Reinstalling Helvetica Font

P

pmt82

Hello,

I have a computer (Windows XP Prof) at our office where the font
Helvetica has disappeared. Now I know it cannot be viewed within
control Panel/Fonts but I know it is in the registry under substitute
fonts onm all machines including the one missing it? All the settings
seem to be identical to the other computers,
infact they are imaged from the same image, however on this one
machine it has disappeared.
How can I restore this default font so that It can be used again?

Any help much appreciated.

This seems like the obvious answer, but I'll just offer it to get it
out of the way.

Find and copy the helvetica font on one of the other machines either
to a common network location or a flash drive. Put it on the desktop
of the uncooperative machine. Right-click on the font file, and select
Install.
