Reinstalling OfficeXP

Hello,

Because of a computer crash (Win98SE), I had to install OfficeXP over my
previous installation. How can I know if I also need to reinstall the
service packs? The version of word (on the Help menu) says 10.55224219(SP2),
which sounds as if service packs 1 and 2 are installed. Is that correct?

Going from experience, any time you have to reinstall an
application over top of an existing and patched
application you should always reapply the patches. The
reason being that once you reinstall there is a good
chance you over wrote any updated code, dll's etc.
Besides, it doesn't hurt to do it again to be sure,
right?
