reinstalling outlook

for the past 2 days all emails were going into junk folder our it guy told
me to reinstall outlook which i did now i have nothing. when i open outlook
i get the mail set up box with email set up, data files and show profiles and
am only able to access show profiles. Can anyone walk me thru getting this
set up as my job depends on emails and at this point i can't send or receive.

No one here can help with that without knowing what type of mail server you
use, how you connect to it, and things like that. What has happened is that
you probably have a new mail profile and PST, which will be empty. Your "IT
guy" should be able to tell you how to reconnect to your original PST, but
you might want to look at this:
