Relationships change automatically (refer to screen captures)

Can somebody explain what is going on? I am using the "333 definitions" table
five times because many fields in my main table require it, hence the reason
why the other tables have naming extensions with _1, _2, _3, _4.

In the relationships window, I configure everything as shown in the link
below.

I then save and close the Relationships window. Opening the Relationships
window again, a split second after just closing it reveals that Access
changed the relationships I had set-up. See the link below.

Why does this happen?

Why does this happen?

I'm guessing that it only creates the extra instances if it is
necessary to do so. Since 2ndopen2sg.gif unambiguously displays all of
the relationships - needing only three instances of the table - it
just uses the first three instances that it encounters.
