Relay blugrolrelay.groove.microsoft.com seems to be down

Hi,

Groove Virtual Office 3.1 users, as well as those users who migrated
their accounts from Groove 3.1 to 2007 are often connected via the relay
blugrolrelay.groove.microsoft.com

This relay seems to be down since this morning (Wednesday 16th, 2009 ;
Paris timezone GMT+1)

Connection status : Extended Failure

Reported by several customers, tested internally on multiple PCs from
different locations and different network connections.
Note that a newly created Groove account connected to the relay
blugro5relay.groove.microsoft.com works fine.

Please report to Microsoft's Groove administrators.

Best regards,

Jan Talens

Hi Jan,

We have not had any reports of problems with any of the blugro Relay
servers. Which blugro server are you attached to? This would only be if you
are running a Groove 2007 account. Groove 3.1 users are attached to a
different set of Relay Servers.

Can you post the Home Relay Section of your Network Diagnostics?

Gregg

Hi Gregg,

Users who reported the problem are attached to the relay
blugrolrelay.groove.microsoft.com
These users are all Groove 3.1 and some Groove 2007 users who migrated
from Groove 3.1

Please note that the problem has been fixed. The day after, we noticed
that the server was available again.

Best regards,
Jan
