Relaying denied. Proper authentication required.

We have recently changed email from Netscape to Outlook 2003. When we try
and reply or forward an email we get the following message

550 5.7.1 <********@hotmail.com>... Relaying denied. Proper authentication
required.

what can I do?

What SMTP (outgoing mail) server are you using?

It is the same as our incoming mail

What SMTP (outgoing mail) server are you using?

Are you on the same network as that server?
