Reliable Outlook XP Backup?

Micheal

Hi

Is there a more reliable way to backup Outlook XP?
I have in the past used the personal folder file (.pst) to
backup outlook and then had MAJOR difficulty recovering
the backed up e-mail and general Outlook configurations.
I am about to move from win 98 to win 2003 server and i
need all e-mails as they were on win 98.

In the past i have created a pst file or even copied the
pst file from the user office profile folder, cut it onto a
CD and then tried to import that file but i always get an
error message.

Any help on this please.

You'll need to place the copy back to the harddisk and remove the "Read
Only" file property. Outlook needs to have read/write access to the file.
